VINEYARD

This Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from various terroirs located in the famous villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, and from the Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais regions. This blend shows both the classic characteristics of Chardonnay and the floral elegance of Mâcon.

DESCRIPTION

Delicate and elegant, with citrus and floral aromas, and lightly toasted notes.

Fresh and lively on the palate, the mid-palate delivers good balance and weight, and an appealing fruit focus.

Fresh and persistent finish.

Good harmony between minerality and ripeness.

WINE MAKING AND AGEING

One-third vinified in stainless steel and two-thirds aged in barrels (no new oak).

Bottled in June 2012.

SERVING

Serve between 12 and 13 °C.

Ideal as an appetizer, or to accompany fish tartar with fresh herbs, grilled shellfish, fresh fish stew, or seared scallops. Excellent with different goat cheeses, such as Cabecou, Rocamadour, Aisy Cendré…
